Viral video: Monkey in theatre during Adipurush screening, fan shouts ‘Jai Shri Ram’

 

Adipurush released in theatres today, June 16. A monkey was spotted in one of the theatres playing the film, prompting fans to chant Jai Shri Ram.





Today is Adipurush Day. The Om Raut-helmed magnum opus released in theatres on June 16 amid much fanfare. The audience have been queuing up outside theatres to watch the film. Netizens have also shared pictures of the seat that has been reserved for Hanumanji in the hall where they are watching the film.Now, a video has emerged on social media where a monkey can be seen watching the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starrer.

Fans have been eagerly waiting to watch Adipurush and several have already watched the film. Now, a video has emerged where a monkey can be spotted inside a theatre playing Om Raut’s film, starring Prabhas and Kriti. The audience took out their phones to record it while many chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram’. In the background, Prabhas can be seen on the screen as Ram. Check out the viral video here:




ABOUT ADIPURUSH

Written and directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is a mythological tale based on Valmiki's Ramayana. The film features Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. They play the roles of Raghava, Janaki and Lankesh, respectively, in the film. Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage are part of the supporting cast.

The film is expected to open with huge numbers at the box office. While trade analyst Taran Adarsh predicted Rs 80-100 crores on opening day across all languages, trade exhibitor Akshaye Rathi predicted a collection of Rs 70 crores.
