Ranbir Kapoor's Animal teaser, which dropped recently, grabbed attention and was trending on social media. Now, as per a report by Pinkvilla, to do justice to the grand vision of director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and due to the delays in post-production, the cost of the film significantly went up. Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly reduced his acting fees for Animal to improve the production standard of the film.
Ranbir Kapoor fee for Animal
The protagonist of the movie, Kapoor is the highest-paid actor with a fee of ₹70 crore (approximately USD 8 million). However, he reduced his fee by 50% to ₹30–35 crore to support the film's makers. Kapoor will also receive a share of the profits if the film does well at the box office.
Bobby Deol fee for Animal
In stark contrast, Bobby Deol, playing the film’s alleged antagonist, received a comparatively modest sum of Rs. 4-5 crores.
Rashmika Mandanna fee for Animal
Following Ranbir on the list is actress Rashmika Mandanna, Reportedly, Rashmika who will be seen as the female lead in the film was paid a total of a staggering 4cr rupees for her role in the film.
Anil Kapoor fee for Animal
Last but not least, actor Anil Kapoor who will be seen playing the role of a wealthy businessman and Ranbir Kapoor's father in the film has reportedly been paid a total of 2cr for his role in the film.
Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga revealed that “Animal” has secured an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film’s intense scenes, particularly Ranbir Kapoor’s character choking his on-screen wife, Rashmika Mandanna, have sparked discussions about the film’s potential hyper-violence, drawing comparisons to Vanga’s previous work, “Kabir Singh.”
