Vicky Kaushal-Rashmika Mandanna's historical blockbuster is all set to eclipse Salman Khan-starrer Sultan as it earns Rs 608.65 crore gross globally and Rs 459.5 crore nett in India.

As film releases slow down amid the ongoing exam season in India, Vicky Kaushal-Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Chhaava is making the most of a longer window at the box office. As recent film releases fall flat at the BO, this historical by Laxman Utekar did a blockbuster collection in its third weekend. Chhava’s box office collection now stands at Rs 459.5 crore nett in India and Rs 608.65 crore globally, making it the biggest earner ever of Vicky Kaushal and director Laxman Utekar’s career.
In its third weekend, Chhaava earned Rs 13 crore on Friday, Rs 22 crore on Saturday and Rs 25 crore on Sunday in India, respectively. This shows that the film — based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj — is in no mood to slow down. Chhaava is now Rs 6 crore shy of overtaking Salman Khan-starrer Sultan’s lifetime global collection. The film earned Rs 614 crore in total. Chhava made Rs 31 crore on its first day, Rs 116.5 crore in the first weekend, Rs 219.5 crore in its first week, and Rs 180.25 crore in its second week
The film is up against Superboys of Malegaon and Craxzy this week, which are both small films.
The Vicky Kaushal-starrer is now the 14th highest-grossing film in India. It has surpassed collections of films such as Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which minted ₹412.87 crore (India Nett), and Padmaavat.

Chhaava has managed to record the highest overseas collection of 2025 and has also become the fastest Bollywood film to cross Rs 600 crores worldwide this year.
