In the first public address after the Pahalgam attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed revenge on the terrorists and their backers. Speaking in Madhubani, Bihar, Prime Minister Modi issued a stern warning.
"Everyone is saddened... the pain is the same from Kargil to Kanyakumari... From the soil of Bihar, I say to the whole world that India will identify and punish every terrorist and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the earth. India’s spirit will never be broken. India's spirit will never be broken. Every effort will be made to ensure the entire nation stands firm in this resolve. I thank the people of various countries who believe in humanity."
