Pushpa 2 has the 'biggest opening ever in Hindi': Allu Arjun's film beats Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan on opening day. The Hindi version of Pushpa 2 alone brought in Rs 72 crore, beating Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which had the opening day collection of Rs 65 crore nett.

The Rule recorded a monumental opening across the globe. In India, the
film raked in Rs 180 crore nett, which makes it the biggest opener of all
time. In addition, Pushpa 2 beat Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan to become the
biggest opener of all time in Hindi. While official numbers are awaited,
it is said that the film made a Rs 200 crore (gross) opening if we include
the overseas numbers.
Pushpa 2, being the most anticipated film of 2024, released in
theatres on December 5. The film was screened on over 10,000 screens across
the globe.
According to the tracking website Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 earned a
whopping Rs 180 crore (nett) on Day 1 (including the paid premiere shows on
December 4) in India. The special premiere shows in Andhra Pradesh,
Telangana and Bengaluru raked in Rs 10.1 crore nett.

By the early estimates, one could predict that Pushpa 2 could have
beaten SS Rajamouli's magnum-opus RRR by collecting over Rs 223 crore on Day
1. The official numbers from the production house will give more clarity on
the gross collection of the film on Day 1.

Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. The film also starred Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sunil,
